Keyera Career Opportunity Job Type: Permanent THE POSITION Keyera is currently seeking an Operations Specialist for our Wapiti Gas Plant. This role will be responsible for implementation and execution of MOC and related projects at the Plant. This position is 14/14, 12 hour days camp position. RESPONSIBILITIES Supervise and direct the planning and execution of projects on a daily basis. Accountable to align project teams and operational/maintenance teams as appropriate to ensure successful outcomes are delivered. Coordinate work activities with appropriate stakeholders to safely complete the assigned tasks. Ensure regulatory requirements in the facilities are adhered to, managed, and reported in an accurate timely manner. Promote, support, and participate in the development, execution, and sustainment of Operational Excellence and AMR. Ensure consistent and transparent communication to supervisors, and pertinent stakeholders as required. Assist in the identification and implementation of best practices to reduce risk and enhance operational effectiveness of the facilities. Assist and support the operating budget and develop cost management strategy. Support and promote the use of procedures, FLHA’s, management of change processes, and internal communication. Assist in the development and execution of corporate objectives, site specific initiatives, and area goals. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum five (5) years’ experience in a facility, pipeline and well operations or maintenance role. Prior experience managing and coordinating projects with successful outcomes. Previous supervision of employees is considered an asset. You have a strong commitment to Health, Safety and the Environment. You follow through on commitments as an engaged contributor. You actively guard against complacency and challenge the status quo. You’re a strong team player with the ability to listen, learn and share knowledge. You’re a self-starter who can work independently with a minimum of supervision. You have strong hazard identification, mitigation and job planning capabilities. Valid H2S Alive, WHMIS, TDG, Ground Disturbance and First Aid Certificates would be an asset.
