Newly opened store is seeking a part time employee to start immediately. The perfect candidate will have very strong sales skills., be an amazing and fun person who loves gourmet food, wine , beer, cheeses and fantastic olive oils & balsamic vinegars! We are looking for fun, friendly and outgoing team members. You will learn to conduct wine and beer tastings and help customers with their purchases! We have a little something for everyone!

Candidates must be outgoing and friendly (this is a must! ). We are looking for team members that are reliable, punctual, with great personalities and a passion for customer service. Knowledge and passion for cooking, wine, craft beer, and gourmet food are recommended but not required (buy hey, at least you like it alot!) ! Previous retail experience a plus.

This is an active position with great tips! You will not be sitting down and need to be able to stand for long periods of time, be engaged with the customers and actively selling on the floor.

Requirements-

-Retail store experience or willingness to jump in and learn

-A passion for great food and cooking, wine/beer, cheese and/or gourmet foods

-Strong sales and customer service skills

-Enjoys working with customers, is sales directed and committed to excellent customer service

-Successful track record of meeting daily, weekly, and monthly sales objectives

-Excellent communication skills

-Must be able to lift 30 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.

-Creative and outgoing personality.

-Work schedule will include evenings, weekends & holidays

Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to provide a positive shopping experience
- Utilize effective communication skills to understand customer needs and recommend products
- Conduct sales transactions, including cash handling and processing payments
- Demonstrate product features through effective product demos
- Maintain stock levels and ensure products are displayed attractively
- Provide assistance with product selection

Skills:
- Proficient in basic math for processing transactions and calculating discounts
- Strong sales skills to meet or exceed sales targets
- Ability to effectively communicate in English with customers and team members

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 per hour
