Description:
- As a Business Intelligence Lead Developer, responsible to analyze, initiate, design, execute and control the tabular data models using SSAS including the generation of reports using Power BI & Reporting services.
- Experience across entire Microsoft BI suite of products including SQL Server 2016/2014/2012/2008R2, SSIS, SSAS, SSRS, MDS, MDX, DAX, PowerPivot and Power BI from prototyping to deployment.
- Modify existing software, database and data models to correct errors, allow it to adapt to new hardware, or to improve its performance.
- Develop and direct software system testing and validation procedures, programming, and documentation.
- Confer with systems analysts, Business analytics, programmers and others to design data models and to obtain information on project limitations and capabilities, performance requirements and interfaces.
- Analyze user needs and software/database requirements to determine the feasibility of design within time and cost constraints.
- Design, develop and modify software/database systems, using Microsoft SQL Server Integration Services and SQL Server Analysis services to predict and measure outcome and consequences of design.
- Store, retrieve, and manipulate data for analysis of system capabilities and requirements.
- Consult with customers about software system/ Data model design and maintenance.
- Supervise the work of Business analytics programmers, technologists and technicians, and other engineering and scientific personnel.
- Coordinate software system installation, Database maintenance and monitor equipment functioning to ensure specifications are met.
- Obtain and evaluate information on factors such as reporting formats required, costs, and security needs to determine hardware configuration.
