Keville Enterprises, Inc., an established construction management and inspection firm is seeking a qualified electrical engineer to provide full-time support as a consultant to the MTA in the management and inspection of the construction phases of the wireless communication and access system wide expansion project for NYCT and SIR elevated structures and NYCT tunnels and designated entrances in the five boroughs of the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Staten Island and Brooklyn. The electrical field engineer will have three (3) or more years of relevant experience and a bachelors degree in electrical engineering. MTA electrical systems installation is preferred.

The job responsibilities of the Electrical Field Engineer will include monitoring the installation of the transit wireless system. The candidate will also receive, coordinate and schedule requests for pre-final and final inspections and acceptance of work. Other responsibilities include monitoring and evaluating the construction progress, reviewing payments assisting with any supplemental information needed for change order requests and updating reports submitted to the client on a regular basis.

The work to be performed will include installation of radio equipment, radiating cable, power, fiber and associated hardware in the tunnels for approximately 307 segments and associated hardware for wi-fi service, installation of Light fixture integrated antennae (LFIA), equipment concealment enclosures, coaxial cables, fiber, power and associated hardware for small cell antennae at subway entrances.
