Keuka Spring Vineyard PT Tasting Room Educator

We are a leading Finger Lakes Winery headquartered in Western New York, renown for producing high-quality wines that capture the essence of the region's terroir. To continue driving business growth, we are expanding our presence into the Hudson Valley region of Eastern New York.

We are seeking Part-time Tasting Room Educators who will provide a wonderful experience for our tasting room guests. The ideal candidate will be energetic, personable, professional, and have a desire to learn and educate customers about wine!

Job Description:

• Greet and welcome all visitors who enter our tasting room.
• Interact with visitors, answer questions, and provide exceptional customer service.
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable atmosphere for guests.
• Pour wines for guests chosen tasting selections.
• Educate guests on wines and winery history.
• Handle routine sales transactions which include operating cash register and accounting of daily sales.
• Run the POS system.
• Assist with display and stocking of retail items and wines.
• Assist in maintaining cleanliness of facilities.
• Assist with off location promotional events.
• Promote Wine Club & Membership Sales.
• Prepare tasting room for opening and closing.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills along with a professional and engaging demeanor.
• 1-2 years of wine knowledge.
• Applicant must be dependable, punctual, professional, go getter, and comfortable working with the public.
• Self-motivated and operates with a sense of urgency and willingness to learn.
• Open-minded and positive thinker.
• Passion for wine and the brand.

Salary: $18.00 an hr
