Description
We are accepting applications for a Fire Alarm Dispatcher for our client in Normal, Illinois. The ideal candidate would be adaptable and willing to learn in fast paced environment.
RESPONSIBILITES:
- Communicate with multiple groups and teams with diverse backgrounds.
- Ensure compliance with applicable workplace safety regulations.
- Monitor fire alarm computer screen at all times.
- Ensure coverage of monitoring for breaks and lunch.
- Follow escalation matrix and contact appropriate people in a timely fashion.
- Confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Communicate with emergency personnel.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Relevant work experience is preferred
- Proficient in use of computers and two-way radio
- Great communication skills
- Safety conscious
- Dependable, conscientious, and detail oriented
