Kett Engineering, established in 1953, a leader in the automotive testing industry is in need of CDL A Test Drivers on the 1st to work at a customer proving ground just outside of Surprise, AZ in Wittman, AZ.

Description: The test driver will drive durability test vehicles pulling a trailer with the weight of 25,000lbs on predetermined test routes, on and off the proving ground track, in order to gather data for manufacturer test engineers. We are seeking safe and technically knowledgeable drivers who will be trained to work on multiple projects. Drivers will report directly to engineering teams.

Pay Rate: is $25/hr.

Work Days: Monday - Friday

1st Shift: 7:00am - 3:30pm

Responsibilities:

- Complete a full vehicle evaluation and complete a clear and concise report and any other records for each vehicle during assigned shift.

- Drive on designated routes for 8-hour shifts while performing test procedures.

- Participate in all vehicle testing including but not limited to driving and designated special tests.

- Attention to detail and able to document findings.

- Operate vehicles in an extremely safe manner, obeying all laws of the road.

- Maintain safety and security procedures.

- Must be comfortable driving in inclement weather.

- Must be comfortable with driving on highways and dirt roads.

- Accurately communicate detailed findings verbally and legibly write detailed findings on reporting forms.

- Follow directions and execute tasks.

- Be reliable and maintain good attendance.

- Complete required trainings.

- Have a positive attitude and ability to contribute in a team environment.

Qualifications:

- Must be available to work up to 40 hours per week (as vehicle testing requires)

- Must be available to work weekends

- Valid Arizona CDL A License required

- Valid and up-to-date DOT Medical Card

- Clean Driving Record - Have no points, no major traffic citations, and/or accidents for the past five years. No DUI's.

- 5 Years licensed driving experience required.

- High School diploma or equivalent

- Must pass Drug Test and Background Check
