Key responsibilities
Develop method for analysis of trace metals in anhydrous HCl by ICP-MS
Daily operation and maintenance of ICP-MS system including analyzing samples and performing quality assurance tasks
Perform calibrations and quality assurance tasks for gas chromatography systems used for trace gas impurities in anhydrous HCl
Maintain record logs of all quality assurance tasks for all anhydrous HCl analytical equipment
Assist with QA lab work as assigned:
Analysis of raw materials, intermediates and finished products
Analysis record keeping
Certificate of analysis generation
Special testing as requested
Maintaining lab supplies
Maintenance and calibration of lab instruments
Preparation and standardization of lab solutions
Maintain test methods
Inspection of raw materials Certificates of analysis
Qualifications And SkillsThere are a few requirements you will need to be safe and successful in this job. Education: A.A.S. science degree, or equivalent Required Knowledge: Basic understanding of chemistry and analytical methods Experience Needed: Prior laboratory experience Skills and Abilities: Analytical, decisive, multi-tasked, and goal-oriented individual is required with the ability to manage time and resources
