Purpose

This position is responsible to build customer relationships by traveling to customer locations, addressing concerns, and providing parts solutions

Responsibilities

• Provides an excellent customer experience
• Markets parts for the extensive line of products that Kern Machinery offers
• Performs follow-up calls at customer locations
• Addresses customer concerns and resolves problems effectively and satisfactorily
• Maintains a positive and professional working relationship with peers, management, and support resources, with a constant commitment to teamwork and exemplary customer experience
• Participates in product presentations and meetings held outside the dealership
• Provides limited technical support where applicable; acts as an advisor to help solve customer parts concerns
• Routinely lifts items weighing up to 50 lbs
• Assists in other areas to keep the dealership clean and orderly

Experience, Education, Skills and Knowledge

• 2 years’ experience in an agricultural or turf related role with involvement in activities such as sales, service, training, or other sales related work
• Experience creating positive customer relationships
• Experience using standard desktop applications such as Microsoft Office and internet applications
• Demonstrated basic understanding of the selling process
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with a degree of independence
• Experience working both independently and in a team setting
• Effective communication skills (written and verbal)
• High School Diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to work extended hours and weekends
• Clean driving record
