SPECIALIST INDIRECT PURCHASING

Requirements:

• High school diploma required; Associate's degree in business administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in similar position.
• Material purchasing, inventory levels knowledge, supplier negotiation and suppliers development.
• Ability to communicate effectively and interact with all levels of an organization.
• MRP Knowledge, SAP is a plus.
• Good interpersonal, follow-up, and follow-through skills.
• Knowledge in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities:

• Compliance of procedures related to purchasing.
• Savings generation through negotiations, analysis and tooling control.
• Development of steel and machining suppliers.
• Consolidation of purchases in group plants.
• Internal and external monitoring of work orders / PO.
• Comparative tables of national and foreign suppliers.
• Administration and control of all MRO products under his responsibility.
