The Hood Cleaner position is responsible for cleaning Kitchen Grease Exhaust Vent
Systems, kitchen equipment, and other items as requested. Driving company vans
and vehicles to and from job sites. Set up and operation of various pressure
washing equipment and chemical applications. Manual removal of heavier buildup
with various hand scrapers and mechanical equipment. Document cleanings and
deficiencies with digital cameras. Communicate with customers and other staff,
plus various other duties as requested and needed.

Responsibilities:

· Power washing of kitchen exhausts systems including hoods, duct work, and
fans.· Set up and take down all jobsites and equipment. including wiping down
stainless-steel hoods, setting up wet/dry vacuums, high pressure hoses, pre-
sprayers, ladders, hanging plastic sheeting, etc.· Independent completion of work projects without supervision.· Maintain equipment, reporting any mechanical deficiencies.

Requirements for Cleaning Technician:

· High School Diploma or equivalent· Must be a minimum of 21 years of age.· Have a valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.· Basic knowledge of hand and/or power tools.· HVAC experience (preferred)· Equipment repair and/or Mechanical knowledge (preferred)· Must be dependable and reliable with the ability to show up on time.· Ability to perform the essential job functions safely and successfully.· Able to climb ladders.· Able to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. or more.

.· Able to work flexible hours.
· Able to work in various weather conditions (ie. hot, cold, rain, etc.).
· Ability to work independently and carry out assignments given with minimal
supervision.
