Glasgow State Nursing Facility (GSNF) may be the place for you. We are a state of the art 100-bed long-term care nursing facility for individuals with mental illness or intellectual disabilities. We are seeking a Nurse Aide State Register I for our team in caring and improving the daily lives of our residents.
This job requires mandatory COVID 19 vaccination or an approved exemption in accordance with CMS-3415-IFC from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services. This means if appointed to the position, the applicant must have completed the primary vaccination series for COVID-19, which means the administration of a single-dose vaccine or the administration of all required doses of a multi-dose vaccine upon commencement of employment. The vaccine received must be one of the FDA-approved or FDA-authorized vaccines. Proof of vaccination will be required. If a medical or religious exemption is sought, the candidate must submit paperwork to the employer prior to appointment for review and approval.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Aids residents with personal hygiene, nutrition, clothing and personal property.
• Observes universal precautions.
• Positions residents for correct alignment.
• Checks repositioning every two hours, and assists in lifting.
• Checks and records vital signs, height, weight, input and output. Records items in charts.
• Attends resident's activities, and accompanies to various appointments.
• Attends conferences, in-service meetings and other meetings as required.
• Maintains interpersonal relationship with residents, families, guardians and other staff while maintaining confidentiality.
• Keeps workplace neat, safe and clean.
• Willing and able to work any shift.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisors.
