The successful candidate will teach program core and elective courses, as well as the potential to teach other courses to be developed by the successful candidate. The new faculty member will also be expected to advise students in the Higher Education Administration and Student Affairs M.Ed. and Ph.D. programs; chair and serve on dissertations; develop and maintain a strong record of scholarship in higher education; participate in the leadership of the program (e.g., recruitment and admissions, curriculum development, planning, possible coordination of a certificate); serve on department, college, and university committees; and participate in the activities of relevant professional organizations (e.g., ASHE, ACPA, NASPA, CIES, NAFSA, AERA).

Minimum Qualifications:

The successful candidate will have:

• An earned doctorate in higher education administration, student affairs, or a closely related field. We are only considering applicants who have been awarded their doctorate prior to applying.
• Potential for or demonstrated success in teaching (hybrid, face-to-face, and online courses) and contributing to academic program development at the graduate level
• Record of or demonstrated potential for research productivity in the form of peer-reviewed publications and conference presentations
• Knowledge and utilization of qualitative research methods
• Mid-level to senior-level higher education and student affairs administrative experience
• Strong collegial, communication, and collaborative teamwork skills
