The Clinical/Mental Health Counselor, as a member of the Counseling Team, will be responsible for supporting the social and emotional needs of approximately 420 boarding and 50 day students in grades 9 through 12. The Counseling Center is an integral part of the school’s culture and system; providing behavioral health support and engaging in prevention and intervention activities; offering mental health and wellness related support services, including case consultation and advice concerning student status, assessments, and treatment.
A Masters in mental health discipline, and at least 5 years of work experience with adolescents, preferably in an independent school environment. Must hold a current CT license in a mental health field. LCSW preferred, LMFT and LPC's accepted.

Schedule/travel: Full-time academic year position. The typical schedule is Monday through Friday, 9 am to 5:30 pm. Additional hours may be required. Schedule may vary according to the Department and Kent School needs.
