Kensington School is a full-day private school & childcare for infants through Kindergarten age, with fourteen locations in the Chicago area.

Kensington School is accepting applications for a School Maintenance Custodian to join our team!

Maintenance responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

- monthly carpet cleaning

- changing lightbulbs

- fixing / assembly of toys & furniture

- painting

- monthly deep cleans of flooring (classrooms, bathrooms, kitchen)

- move furniture as needed

- light yard work, trash pick up

- plumbing experience preferred

- electrical experience preferred 

JOB REQUIREMENTS

- At least 1 year minimum of Maintenance / Custodian / Janitor experience required.

- Must be open to travel between our school locations.

- Experience in a school environment preferred.

- Must pass a state background check

- Complete a medical form

- References are required

- Must be able to work evenings & weekends. Flexible schedule depending on work at hand.
