Job Description: The Inventory Specialist is responsible for monitoring warehouse inventory, performing cycle counting duties and transaction audits to ensure that all materials are properly verified to be reflective of reported inventory. This position will rely on solid analytical skills, data entry accuracy, critical thinking, and good communication skills, to help increase inventory accuracy, identify, and resolve discrepancies.
Job Responsibilities:
· Inventory Specialist will maintain WMS inventory accuracy of all locations.
· Setup new items and maintain WMS requests.
· Evaluate processes and work as a team to improve efficiency.
· Update inventory in WMS as needed.
· Conduct cycle count and/or physical inventory at assigned locations.
· Analyze variances between system and actual counts.
· Work with Site Leaders, warehouse personnel, all CSRs, and Accounting Department to improve inventory accuracy and reconcile inventory discrepancies.
· Report discrepancies of over/under amounts and any damaged products to Clients
· Perform root cause analysis of inventory errors including inbound and record results.
· Update ARN error report weekly.
· Maintain Obsolete, Damaged, QC hold, Destruction Process, and any other non-conforming process in Sphere system.
· Communicate and develop process enhancements as needed.
· Maintain neat, clean, and orderly work area.
· Ability to work extended hours/over-time as needed as well as some Saturdays.
· Other responsibilities may be added as needed.
Education, Experience, and/or skills Required:
· Associate degree is required.
· Minimum of 3 years of related experience.
· Knowledge of Microsoft Office
· Organized thought process with high attention to detail and strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
· Must have time management skills and ability to respond to time sensitive issues.
· Excellent work ethic. Ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player.
· Professional attitude and the ability to represent the company with integrity.
· Required to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
· Local travel between facilities is required.
