Customer Service Floral Supply

Duties and Responsibilities: 

Customer service and support person for floral supply. This position is to assist the sales team with customers that come into the building or call on the telephone to inquire about floral supplies. Assist customers with floral supply needs in person and over the telephone. Strong sense of urgency and desire to provide a high level of customer service while selling floral supplies. Ability to use computer, scanner, and telephone. Attention to detail and a willingness to learn is a must. Part-time 20-25 hours per week. Monday - Friday 10:00 am - 3:00 pm. $14 - $16 per hour. Ability to speak Spanish and English preferred. 

1. Processing of in-bound product 

1. Enter information into inventory control system. 

1. Process invoices 

1. Prepare product for customer orders. 

1. Process pick-up orders. 

1. Ensure quality of product for customer orders. 

1. Communicate product availability to salespeople. 

1. Interact with incoming delivery drivers. 

1. Coordinate with other work centers. 

1. Assist with receiving deliveries. 

1. Inform management of any problems or concerns. 

1. Straighten boxes, dust shelves, sweep & mop floors, process recycling, remove trash as needed 

1. Equipment usage: forklift, pallet jack, ladder

1. Rotate stock as directed. 

1. Follow safety guidelines 

1. Additional projects as assigned by leadership. 

Skills and Abilities: 

1. Able to collaborate and communicate with other work teams. Ability to speak Spanish and English preferred.

1. Detail oriented for processing customer orders. 

1. Able to use powered and manual equipment, cutting tools, and other tools. 

1. Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Physical Requirements: 

1. Prolonged periods standing on cement flooring. 

1. Ability to lift 25 pounds, 50 pounds on occasion, and 80 pounds as a team lift. 

1. Able to work in coolers. 

Qualifications

 Hours will flex during floral holiday's such as Mother's Day and Valentine's Day.
