Kenneth Strubbe MDPA is Hiring an Experienced Bilingual Medical Office Manager Near Hialeah, FL

Successful candidates will bring their passion to service in assisting physicians in the daily management of an OBGYN medical office operations following established standards and practices. Must have leadership experience, excellent organizational skills, leadership attributes, and be results-oriented. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail is essential. Looking for a person with 4 years of experience managing staff and operations in a medical office. Must be fully bilingual in English and Spanish.  bilingual (Spanish/ English) candidates with management experience in a medical office will be considered. 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Manages a team of front and back-office medical assistants. (generally 3-7 members).
  • Assists with scheduling, administrative, and clinical duties for providers.
  • Provide leadership to physicians and staff in streamlining operations to ensure quality patient care and maximize patient satisfaction.
  • Knowledge of health administration practices and procedures.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize functions of a fast-paced practice.
  • Manages office operations and performance to ensure that front-office and back-office teams operate in an efficient, accurate, and patient-focused manner.
  • Provides extraordinary customer service to all internal and external customers (including patients, team members, and other departments).
  • Ensures new team members are onboarded and receive proper training using policies and procedures.
  • Oversees, monitors, and improves clinic performance and other key performance indicators.
  • Ensures accuracy of all incoming and outgoing information including supplies, invoices, referral requests, patient records, and medication management.
  • Informs management about current office trends, and recommends new policies or facilitates improvements to current policies and workflows.
  • Participates in required team meetings and communicates updates and changes to physicians and staff. 
  • Ensures team calendar, spreadsheets, and whiteboards are current and accurate.
  • Assists providers with obtaining and maintaining credentialing, hospital portal access, state licenses, and professional memberships.
  • Communicates with HR regarding PTO and hour management of in-office team.
  • Ensures compliance with Medicare Advantage Plans, HIPAA, and labor laws and is responsible for reporting and recording any suspected breaches, compliance, or performance issues. 
  • Has clinical working knowledge and has the ability to perform clinical duties including the following: taking vital signs, reviewing medications, administering injections, dispensing medications, drawing blood, and assisting the physician with any/all procedures.
  • Manager will be expected to fill in for staff positions in case of staff shortage or sick calls. 
  • Prepare reports and manage assigned projects as necessary.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
  • Associate degree. (Equivalent working experience will be considered)
  • Minimum of 4 years of leadership experience required.
  • Prior medical assisting experience required. 
  • CPR Certified.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to accurately read and write medical terminology.
  • Knowledge of medical coding.
  • Knowledge of HIPAA.
  • Knowledge and understanding of OSHA and Biohazard guidelines.
  • Basic computer skills, including familiarity with electronic medical records.
  • Fully Bilingual in Spanish and English ( speak, read, and write) is required.
