Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair complex plumbing systems, including water supply lines, waste disposal systems, and related appliances and fixtures, ensuring compliance with codes and safety regulations.
- Perform routine maintenance of plumbing systems in commercial buildings to prevent future problems and extend the life of the systems.
- Install new plumbing systems and equipment according to specifications and code requirements.
- Respond to emergency plumbing calls promptly to mitigate risks and damages.
- Maintain detailed records of assignments and produce reports on tasks completed, time taken, and materials used.
- Collaborate with construction teams, site managers, and other tradespeople to ensure plumbing needs are met and coordinated with other construction or renovation activities.
- Provide excellent customer service, offering clear communication and professional advice to ensure client satisfaction.
- Continuously update knowledge of the trade through participation in workshops, seminars, and relevant trade classes.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment as required.
- 2 - 3 years of experience in commercial plumbing services.
- Proficient knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and plumbing standards.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically capable of performing the essential functions of the job, including lifting heavy equipment and working in confined spaces.
