Kenko Ya is seeking BOH (kitchen cook and sushi chef) staff to join the team!
Experience working in a restaurants is a plus but not required as we are willing to train. We are a busy, fast-paced Japanese restaurant located in Kaneohe Bay Shopping Center for over 10 years and we strive to ability to provide great food with quick service. We look forward to hearing from you!
BOH (Kitchen staff) Duties: (included but not limited to)
Set up workstations with all ingredients to be used during operation
Food preparation
Maintain a clean workstation and use all operational equipment safely
Prepare tempura items to order using hot frying oil
Plating food onto plates or bento boxes
Cleaning kitchen at end of night
BOH Skills:
Experience with food prep and cooking is a plus
Ability to work as a team and communicate
Ability work in a fast-paced setting
Attention to detail
Great time management skills

Mon, Wed, Thu: 10:30am - 9:00pm
Tues: Closed
Fri, Sat: 10:30am - 10:00pm
Sun: 4:00pm - 9:00pm
