WSG has local offices in Seattle, Renton and Tacoma. Job DescriptionWatson Security is seeking a skilled Journeyman Electrician with an E-06 Washington state license to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our security systems division, you will play a crucial role in the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical components within security systems.Responsibilities:Install, test, and maintain electrical components of security systems, including but not limited to surveillance cameras, access control systems, and alarm systems.Proficiently perform electrical wiring and conduit installation to ensure the proper functioning of security equipment.Collaborate with technicians and other team members to integrate electrical components seamlessly into comprehensive security systems.Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues within security systems, implementing effective solutions to ensure optimal performance.Ensure all installations and electrical work adhere to local, state, and national electrical codes and regulations.Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of all work performed, including wiring diagrams, installation records, and system configurations.Coordinate with other team members, including security system technicians and project managers, to deliver high-quality, integrated security solutions to our clientsQualificationsPossession of a valid E-06 Washington state electrical license is requiredHold a Journeyman Electrician certification or equivalentProven experience in the installation and maintenance of security systems, with a focus on electrical componentsStrong technical proficiency in electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting.Meticulous attention to detail to ensure precise and accurate installationsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and clientsEfficient time management skills to meet project deadlines and deliver high-quality workThe position requires a valid driver’s license, insurability to drive under the Organization’s insurance policy and valid DOT certificateAbility to travel, work evenings, weekends and overnight as neededOSHA10 Certification (certification can be received after hire) Additional InformationBenefits: Medical and Dental Insurance, Vision, Life, and Disability Insurance, as well as Voluntary Benefits, HSA & FSA, and Employee contribution to 401k. *Employer match, up to 4%. PTO and paid Holidays.Salary: $45 - $65 per hour, depending on skills and experience Hours: Standard business hours are 8am-5pmWatson will provide an equipped Mobile Service Unit (van) for providing full-service installation and service work in the field in the Seattle area.Physical Abilities: Perform repeated physical activities that require considerable use of arms and legs and moving the whole body, such as climbing, lifting (to waist and overhead), balancing, walking, stooping, the ability to lift at least 50lbs and handling of materials.Working Conditions: Work conditions and work hours will change daily based scheduled service needs.Indoor/outdoor environments ranging from construction sites to finished buildings. Cell phone and email used daily.
