Kendall Hunt Publishing is looking for an enthusiastic college student to fill our K-12 Sales Intern position, with an emphasis on RFPs and State adoption support. This position will allow you to explore the field of publishing sales while assisting in the development and submission of print and digital educational product submissions. For the summer of 2024 the focus will be supporting the sales team with administrative tasks, like quotes and CRM as well as our RFP response efforts, so a comfort level with Microsoft office suite is necessary. This internship is an in-person position located in our home office in Dubuque, Iowa; no remote work is currently available. Who Is Kendall Hunt Publishing? • Generate quotes and enter opportunities in our CRM
• Learn our digital workflow and software
• Research upcoming State adoption timelines and requirements
• Assist the RFP Specialist in organizing our document library
• Special projects and other duties as assigned

• You are comfortable with taking direction from multiple sources and managing priorities
• You are proficient or knowledgeable of Internet software and Microsoft Office programs
• You don't mind taking initiative and consider yourself an independent thinker
• You have strong organizational and interpersonal skills
• You are detailed, proactive, and hard-working with experience balancing multiple tasks
• You are a great communicator, people person and problem solver
• You are a freshman, sophomore, or junior currently enrolled in a two or four-year college or university
• You will need to be available to work during the summer months
