Kencor is a part of American Elevator Group (AEG) company, a collection of well-established elevator service companies operating across the United States. Backed by Arcline Investment Management, AEG has a significant footprint in the elevator industry and is rapidly growing. Due to anticipated growth, we are looking for two Elevator Apprentices to work in the Philadelphia Metro region.
In this role, the Apprentice assists the mechanic on jobs, keeping the tools and jobsite organized, run parts and materials, and maintaining tools, equipment and components to ensure safe work practices. The Apprentice will also be expected to participate and complete a CET training program with emphasis on site training.
The successful candidate must possess a HS diploma or equivalent, have a valid and clean drivers license, and have previous knowledge and experience with either hydraulics, electrical, engines or HVAC and understand the proper lifting technique and safe body mechanics to prevent injury. Previous elevator, amusement park, or military technical training is a plus.
