Kenco Hydraulics is Hiring a Pump Shop Technician Near Hatfield, PA

This role is centered around hydraulic component repair within a workshop setting. The Pump Shop Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and testing hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors to ensure optimal performance and customer satisfaction. They play a key role in the maintenance and restoration of hydraulic systems.

Job Duties Include:

  • Diagnose and repair hydraulic pumps, valves, and motors, ensuring they meet quality and safety standards.
  • Disassemble, inspect, and identify faulty components in hydraulic components.
  • Perform necessary repairs, including replacement of damaged parts, reconditioning, and assembly.
  • Test repaired components to ensure they function correctly and meet specifications.
  • Collaborate with other team members and provide technical expertise in hydraulic component repair.
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to enhance efficiency and safety.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and other team members regarding repair progress and any potential challenges.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure working environment.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in hydraulic component repair or related mechanical field.
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, pumps, valves, and motors.
  • Proficient in the disassembly, repair, and reassembly of hydraulic components.
  • Familiarity with hydraulic seals, materials, and industry best practices.
  • Ability to accurately diagnose issues and implement appropriate repair solutions.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills within a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and precision in repairs.
  • Adherence to safety protocols and guidelines for personal and team safety.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
