Title: Production Operator

We are looking for a Production Operator for the Industry & Water segment. This position performs work safely in accordance with established procedures; troubleshoots problems; performs lab analysis tasks; and ensures the proper operation of all equipment. The responsibilities also include monitoring tank levels and process instrumentation; operating pumps, valves, filter presses, controls and other operating devices; loading finished goods; connecting/disconnect railroad cars, and operating the fork truck, skid steer and overhead crane.
Kemira's Industry & Water segment enables our customers to improve their water treatment efficiency by providing value adding support and high performing chemicals. This position will be located at our Fontana, CA, manufacturing site.

What you need:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Minimum 2 years’ work experience in an industrial operations position preferred
- Ability to read, write and speak English fluently
- Ability to obtain and maintain 40 hour Hazmat certification (40 hour Hazmat certified a plus)
- Ability to successfully complete Emergency Response Training requirements
- Available to work overtime as required, including stay-overs and call-ins
- Available to work all shifts
- Fill in for operators on short notice
