In this role, you will have the flexibility to organize your work between office and remote, in a hybrid work culture. This position will be located in Baltimore, MD

We are now looking for a Maintenance & Project Manager, NA Coagulants Manufacturing to maintain and improve our operations for North America’s Coagulant manufacturing facilities. The successful candidate will also be responsible for managing key capital projects and ensuring they are completed on time and within budget. Candidate will work closely with production teams to achieve operational robustness, reduce downtime, and improve our operational safety. The overall goal is to transform our sites into manufacturing fortresses in the medium term (7 years).

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Establish and Maintain equipment functional structures and Preventive Maintenance schedules in ERP SAP
  • Drive Corporate Must Win Battle Maintenance Initiatives: Connectivity and Maintenance focused
  • Execute, develop, and manage capital projects, including budget preparation, project planning, and scheduling
  • Work together with Manufacturing and Engineering Managers in development strategic alignment in operational projects priorities
  • Lead maintenance operations within our group
  • Coordinate with production teams to schedule maintenance activities to minimize downtime.
  • Potential to manage directly or indirectly a team of maintenance personnel and ensure they are trained and qualified to perform their duties.
  • Participate in hiring
  • Oversee the installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery.
  • Ensure all projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
  • Work with external contractors and vendors to ensure all work is performed to company standards and specifications.

What you’ll bring to the team:

  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field preferred, can be substituted with experience.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in maintenance and project management in a manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated experience in developing and implementing preventative maintenance programs.
  • Proven track record of successful project management, including budget preparation, project planning, and scheduling.
  • Previous Experience with Hazardous Chemicals, including Chlorine and HCl.
  • Strong leadership and people management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with regulatory and safety requirements for manufacturing environments.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and practices is a plus.
