Description

MISSION:
Pick orders from and return stock to warehouse accurately utilizing a lift truck or other material handling equipment. Store and distribute material, tools, equipment and products. 

Position Duration:12 weeks

Shifts Available: 1st & 2nd 

1st Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM Monday - Friday (Overtime Required)

2nd Shift Hours: 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM, Monday - Friday (Overtime Required)

KEY OUTCOMES (KPIs):

1) OUTCOME: Picking and Staging

• Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to primary bin location or available location by predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or part number
• Mark materials with proper identifying information: part number and location
• Perform and/or verify Oracle’s sub inventory transfer transaction for quantity of materials or items received and put away in location.
• Pick orders from stock for staging in production/assembly/fulfillment line
• Record location and quantity on work orders for materials or items picked

2) OUTCOME: Return to Stock

• Return materials from production to warehouse inventory and perform required material transactions to designate material location
• Utilize shrink wrapper to prepare skids for shipment
• Use computer or tablet to perform material transactions.
• Operate lift truck or other material handling equipment to move items within the warehouse.
• Perform daily maintenance checks on warehouse material handling equipment
• Willingness to perform duties outside the predefined scope

3) OUTCOME: Additional Duties

• Direct unloading of materials from delivery truck to temporary storage locations for put away and/or receiving inspection
• Inspect unloaded materials for integrity in packaging and any shipment monitoring devices such as “do not double stack.” Bring the discrepancy to the delivery driver's attention and make note on the BOL (Bill of Lading)
• Sign BOL and include any comment, quantity or packaging variations, or shipping damage found during inspection
• Report any discrepancy in quantity received and follow procedures for reporting shipping damage

Qualifications

STRENGTHS TO BE SUCCESSFUL:

• Ability to stand; walk; use hands to grip, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to operate a lift truck and other material handling equipment in a safe manner
• Suggest changes in working conditions and use of equipment to increase efficiency of shop, department, or work team.
• 2 years fork lift experience with Bendi, Sit Down, Stand Up, and Cherry Picker
• Trained in safety of lifting, handling, and transporting of materials with various shape, size and weight
• Must be a team player and willing to work in a diverse work environment
• Maintain reliable attendance, including overtime as required
