Responsibilities
Top level technical expert in one or more highly specialized areas of application systems analysis, technical and programming background. Helps to significantly improve and revolutionize KSC Clinical systems by joining and contributing to multifunctional teams, which will deploy leading-edge technology.
Key responsibilities include:
Reviews application technology needs, plans and budgets system technology solutions. Responsible for management of staff, Application Systems implementation projects, budgets – capital/operational, future module deployments and upgrades. Provides day-to-day management of Application System Analysts and Project Managers. Assists in the development and maintenance of performance standards for applications and operations. Provides project management, direction, coordination of technical resources and technical assistance for significant applications implementation related projects. Responsible for analysis of programming issues and problem resolution affecting users at all administrative and clinical levels. Responsible for and supervises and mentors application support in areas as assigned in a professional and partnership manner with clinic leadership. Ability to work with KSC Executive team in a collaborative working relationship at all times.
Shares knowledge and learning with others. Provides technical leadership on complex projects. May act as expert in business or functional area. Keeps abreast of new technology. Formulates/defines system scope and objectives. Has full technical knowledge of all phase of applications systems analysis. Assists client departments in identifying and designing opportunities for operational improvement, which can be enabled by, improved systems configuration, deployment, acquisition or development. Provides project management and direction for system related projects. Understands scope of job and may perform various tasks including: Project Management, Change Control processes, Project budgets, Coordination of team project support, flow charts and diagrams.
