Responsibilities

**Providing assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and eating. *Assisting with medication administration, as directed by a healthcare professional. *Supporting individuals with activities of daily living, such as transportation, grocery shopping, and meal planning. *Encouraging and promoting independence and self-care skills among the individuals they support. *Assisting individuals in accessing community resources and activities, such as recreational programs and social events. *Providing emotional support and helping individuals manage challenging behaviors. *Maintaining accurate and timely documentation of services provided and progress towards goals. *Working collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and therapists, to ensure individuals receive coordinated care. *

Qualifications

**High School Diploma or GED *One-year prior professional experience *Driver’s license required *Must be 18 years or older *Entry level position. Training is provided.
