The Curriculum Designer is responsible for developing and refining curriculum and educational content across a variety of subjects. This role emphasizes the creation of comprehensive learning experiences, integrating the latest educational methodologies and technologies to enhance learner engagement and achievement.
Essential Functions:- Design and develop comprehensive curricula that align with organizational goals and learner needs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy and relevance
- Implement instructional strategies and methodologies to facilitate learning
- Develop assessment tools to measure learning outcomes and program effectiveness
- Revise and update curriculum based on feedback and emerging educational trends
- Manage multiple curriculum development projects within timelines and budget
Knowledge and Skills:- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with an in-depth knowledge of training methodologies, adult learning principles, and educational technology
- Proficient in curriculum design principles and educational theories
- Strong ability to write effective copy, instructional text, audio/video scripts
- Knowledge of curriculum theory, instructional design, and content development, aiming to deliver impactful and accessible learning outcomes
- Excellent project management and collaboration skills
- Advanced proficiency in educational technology and digital learning tools
- Exceptional communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work flexible hours. We operate 24/7/365
Education and Experience:- Associate degree in curriculum design, educational technology, or a related field. A bachelor's degree is a plus. Experience in curriculum design may be considered in lieu of degree
- 2 years' experience in curriculum development or instructional design preferred
- Experience with Learning Management Systems and e-learning authoring tools
- Spanish bilingual preferred
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S
- Must be able to travel within the Continental United States (CONUS)
- Must pass a background check after accepting a conditional offer of employment
