This individual manages the logistics, planning, and coordination of youth and early awareness outreach programming at the college in collaboration with K-12 partners, community organizations, and the college’s faculty and staff.

In addition, will coordinate programs designed to bridge literacy and math gaps between secondary and college-level coursework for students to support student success.

Work with school district personnel and community partners to co-design programming focused on growing academic, personal, and financial success skills, along with an understanding of college opportunities at the college for K-12 youth2.

Coordinates the Bridges to Success summer program designed to enhance college success skills and close equity gaps through dual enrollment3.

Serves as the logistics manager for programs related to the Bridging the Gap Initiative, an initiative designed to bridge literacy and math gaps between secondary and college-level coursework4.

Coordinates registration processes for programs; attends programs to solve problems with registration, room scheduling, etc.

5. Maintains accurate and organized records to ensure that grant reporting requirements are met6. Collaborates with employees across the College;

participates in relevant committees, subcommittees.7. Performs other related duties, as assigned.8. Ability to work additional hours, as needed.

• Two (2) or more years of work experience in program coordination or project management.* Two (2) or more years of experience in a K-12 setting and / or working with K-12 students, families, or staff.
• Demonstrated experience tracking and analyzing data.* Skills in project management tracking systems (preferred not required)* Experience working in higher education or a community college (preferred not required)
