Kelly Engineering Resources has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Electrical Engineer to join a leading energy management solutions company in Cedar Park, TX. This company provides components and systems that measure, shield and control electromagnetic and acoustic energy to the industrial and commercial industries. *Primary Responsibilities: *
* Design and develop digital circuits for new and existing products.
* Design and analyze analog and digital circuits to meet safety, reliability, and EMC requirements.
* Development of system-level and hardware-level product requirements and specifications.
* Create and support test protocols for the verification and validation of hardware and embedded software.
* Transfer designs to production.
* Support products in production by conducting root cause analysis, risk analysis, and implementing corrective actions.
*Minimum Qualifications:*
* Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
* 7 years of experience building and troubleshooting electrical components and systems.
* Experience in printed circuit board design tools (CAD, simulation), embedded software development tools, and Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.
* Experience in Digital hardware design for embedded systems including microprocessor with schematic capture and board layout.
* Experience designing to meet EMI/EMC regulations.
* Knowledge of PLC/HMI equipment.
* Experience producing manufacturing documentation packages.
* Good communication skills along with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Exposure to analog design highly preferred
* Exposure to real-time embedded software design/programming highly preferred.
