Job Summary :

Kelly is looking for Production Technician for a premier company in Burlington, WA . As a Production Technician at our state-of-the-art LVL Manufacturing facility, you will play a crucial role in producing engineered wood for structural buildings across the United States and internationally.

Job Specifications :

• Job Type : Full-time
• Pay Rate : $20 per hour (Day Shift), $21 per hour (Night Shift)
• Shift : 3 days on and 2 days off rotation each week (12 hour days)
• Duration : 90 Days, then definite temp-to-hire for permanent employment with pay raise!

Roles and Responsibilities :

• Operate machinery in the Press and Packaging departments to manufacture laminated veneer lumber (LVL) according to factory-controlled specifications.
• Set up and run machines to lay up wood with glue and press it together, forming large boards or "billets" in the Press department.
• Cut, coat, stack, and wrap billets into smaller widths in the Packaging department for shipment to customers.
• Collaborate with the team to improve processes and ensure top-notch product quality.
• Provide input and suggestions for enhancing efficiency and safety in the production process.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Qualifications & Skills :

• No previous experience required; we provide comprehensive on-the-job training.
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality products.
• Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy objects as required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse team members.
