JOB DESCRIPTION
Join us as the Manager of Business Quality Assurance and take the lead in driving our commitment to unparalleled quality standards. In this crucial role, you'll oversee performance assurance and ensure rigorous risk-based quality evaluations across all functional areas and the broader enterprise. RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of quality professionals, setting clear objectives and fostering their continuous development to ensure a high-performing quality management team.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define and measure key quality indicators, identifying areas for improvement and implementing strategies for continuous enhancement of quality processes and outcomes.
  • Assimilate information to proactively develop quality activities aligned with company strategies and values. Ensure that quality management activities are linked to the strategic plan.
  • Collaborate with functional and enterprise leaders to identify and implement performance improvement initiatives that align with quality objectives, enhance efficiencies, support corporate goals and contribute to overall organizational success.
  • Independently problem solve and act as a catalyst for change, utilizing data to drive results and improvements in quality management.
  • Build and maintain enterprise stakeholder relationships to ensure alignment with Delta Dental's quality plan and goals.
  • Translate functional area quality objectives into actionable quality assurance activities.
  • Successfully engage with enterprise stakeholders by delivering pertinent and actionable data and insights, ensuring a thorough understanding of the progress, direction, and expected outcomes of the quality plan.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • 8 years w/Bachelor's degree; 1 years supervisory/management
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, organizational leadership, quality, or similar field, or equivalent experience
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills (verbal and written). Ability to represent ideas effectively and be highly credible presenting to and communicating with senior functional leader area personnel.
  • Strong analytical skills with a track record of identifying potential issues proactively and formulating solutions and contingency plans.
  • Process Management experience or demonstrated skills and ability to analyze, act, and implement to ensure desired results are achieved.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, planning and execution skills.
  • Excellent relationship management and interpersonal skills, including the ability to create and maintain relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization.
  • Superb persuading and influencing skills, and the ability to powerfully communicate the value of our successes.
  • Experience of extrapolating and visualizing data to derive actionable data intelligence.
  • Advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of Delta Dental's improvement project methodologies, Capability Model, and Business Quality Framework.

Base Pay Information
The national base pay range at the end is a good-faith estimate of what Delta Dental may pay for new hires. Actual pay may vary based on Delta Dental's assessment of the candidate's knowledge, skills, abilities (KSAs), related experience, education, certifications and ability to meet required minimum job qualifications. Other factors impacting pay include prevailing wages in the work location and internal equity. $92,000 - $196,500
