Description
Kelly Aero is seeking a Teardown Technician to dissemble parts and accessories, partially or completely. This position requires the use of drill presses, hand tools, testing and soldering equipment. This position includes the following duties although other duties may be assigned:
· Disassemble magnetos and accessories, partially or completely, working at bench or on shop floor on a production basis.
· Disassemble parts by following written procedures in maintenance manuals, drawings, and/or operational descriptions.
· Clean disassembled parts via use of media blasting and/or chemical cleaner.
· Utilizes drill presses, punch presses, riveting machines, soldering equipment, testing equipment, and small and pneumatic hand tools to assist in disassembly processes.
· Utilize all required safety equipment.
· Responsible for maintenance and cleaning of safety equipment.
Requirements
To perform the job of a Teardown Technician successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE: High school diploma and six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Forklift operation may be required.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; reach with hands and arms. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.

Job Type: Full-time Hours Monday-Friday 7am-3:30pm (overtime is available)
Salary: $13.00-$15.00 per hour
