Working as a Retail Display Coordinator Northern New Jersey or New York City area. You will contribute to the success of Kellanova USA Sales by leveraging your strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills to ensure a team of Retail Display Merchandisers are working effectively and efficiently. HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

  • Create and Communicate Weekly Schedules – With an owner’s mindset, you will coordinate the weekly schedule for the RDM team in your assigned territory. Have an aptitude for thinking on your feet? That’s good – because we’ll be looking to you to problem solve for callouts, schedule changes and customer needs, and communicate back to the RDM team as necessary. Additionally, you’ll coordinate coverage with Kellanova Area Managers and Representatives to execute in-store merchandising activity for big tent pole events. (i.e. Back to School, Super Bowl, Holiday, etc.)
  • This position requires daily travel within the assigned area. Occasional travel outside of local area including some overnight stays. Including travel to Eastern Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut. Expected travel is 20% but may vary depending on location of residency.
  • Daily physical activities which include but are not limited to lifting, bending, standing, reaching, and kneeling. Frequently lifting 15 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
  • Work schedule includes nights and early morning hours.
  • This position provides participation in either the Kellanova Auto Reimbursement Program or a Fleet Vehicle Program, valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
  • This position participates in a bring your own mobile program.
  • Employees will receive a $65 monthly stipend for cellular phone usage.


Training and Onboarding
– Put your teaching cap on, because in this role you will partner with the Retail Display Manager to ensure all new merchandisers are properly on-boarded using the new hire checklist. You’ll also provide in store training for new hires and RDM that need additional training, ensuring RDM are using Stay in Front software, following up on compliance, and providing training on the tool.

Compliance and Reporting – You will be reviewing, confirming, and approving submitted hours for payroll, analyzing submissions using Kronos and comparing to Stay in Front reports. In this role you’ll also perform store compliance checks and follow-up on discrepancies. And, with a good eye, you’ll provide valuable store-level insights by pulling reports from Tableau and using Excel to analyze data.


YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS


Required:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Ability to work in conditions which include multiple and conflicting priorities and have the capacity to switch between multiple tasks effectively and efficiently.
  • Intermediate Excel skills
  • Intermediate analytical skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication with both internal partners and external customers
  • Strong problem-solving skills


Preferred:

  • People management / leadership experience
  • Experience hiring and training staff, managing budgets, analyzing, and reporting data.
  • Previous sales, merchandising and/or customer service experience.
  • Previous experience working with mobile technologies.
