In this role you’ll help to shape the Consumer Marketing and Consumer Commerce technology initiatives.

As the Lead Application Developer for Consumer Experience, you will be focusing on the build of application capabilities and products, implement differentiated technologies, and help support business operations. You will also lead the technology transform that aligns with enterprise standards, compliments the existing landscape, and recommend and implement technically sound solutions. This role will be based in either the Chicago, IL metropolitan area or Battle Creek, MI.

HERE’S A TASTE OF WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

• Collaborate with the business – You’ll work closely with clients, business analysts, and team members to understand the business requirements that drive the design and build of high quality and cost-effective solutions to drive business growth and profitability with focus on consumer experiences and loyalty as well as data driven marketing and analytics
• Application Development – You’ll be involved in the full systems life cycle and responsible for designing, coding, testing, implementing, and supporting application software with on time delivery
• Architecture Design Input – You’ll participate in component and related architecture design, technology planning, and other activities related to the application development initiative. You’ll act as a change agent in delivering and embracing digital strategy

YOUR RECIPE FOR SUCCESS

• High School Diploma or GED and hands-on experience with system development and configuration
• Application programming and system analysis/design experience implementing and enhancing within at least 2 of the following areas:
  • Digital Asset Management and Product Information Management
  • Consumer Identity Management or Consumer Privacy Protection
  • Consumer Rating and Reviews
  • Direct to consumer eCommerce
• Technology skills in at least 2 of the following areas: Adobe DAM, Epsilon, SAP Customer Data Cloud (CDC), BazaarVoice or React
• Demonstrated ability to analyze and interpret complex problems or processes that span multiple business areas, developing alternate solutions
• Experience designing, developing, and testing applications using proven or emerging technologies from the perspective of the consumer while following Kellogg’s core principles, policies, and procedures
• Experience driving the delivery of offshore resources and the rollout of agile design including continuous integration and impact analysis
• Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skills
