Overview: We are seeking compassionate and dedicated individuals to join our team as Home Health Aides. As a Home Health Aide, you will play a vital role in providing essential care and support to patients in their homes. Duties: - Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting - Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals - Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature - Provide companionship and emotional support to patients - Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as meal preparation, laundry, and tidying up - Help with mobility and transfers, ensuring patient safety at all times - Follow care plans and communicate any changes or concerns to the supervising nurse - Maintain accurate medical records and documentation Skills: - Experience in hospice care, nursing homes, or senior care is preferred - Strong patient care skills with a compassionate and empathetic approach - Knowledge of vital signs monitoring and medication administration - Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect patient privacy - Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals - Attention to detail for accurate documentation of medical records - Understanding of memory care techniques for patients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease Join our team of dedicated professionals who are committed to providing exceptional care to our patients.
