Dallas Personal Injury and Wrongful Death law firm seeking a highly experienced Litigation Paralegal to join our team in downtown Dallas.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Ability to produce in high stress environment
  • Contribute towards departmental goals and add value for closing out cases and maximizing settlements for our clients.
  • Assist with answering the phone lines, as needed
  • Assist with all phases of pre-litigation and litigation
  • Manage litigation deadlines and respond to subpoenas
  • Ability to draft discovery
  • Manage litigation holds and e-discovery
  • Manage E-Filings in State and Federal Courts
  • Organize case files electronically and maintain detailed case logs
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment
  • Client Facing Engagement
  • De-escalation concerning Client Care
  • Work in Team Environment for Client & Company Success

Desired Skills & Experience:

  • Proficient in personal injury law litigation and prelitigation, including drafting pleadings
  • Proficient in preparing discovery responses
  • Proficient in E-filing court documents
  • Proficient in monitoring and calendaring hearings, docket entries, and other required court deadlines for Attorney
  • Exceptional client management skills on the phone, in person, and via emails
  • Proficient in Case Management Software
  • Detailed oriented and professional attitude
  • Working knowledge of common deadlines and protocols of personal injury litigation

Job Requirements:

  • College degree or comparable paralegal experience is required; paralegal certificate from ABA accredited paralegal program is preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years (preferred) of experience providing paralegal litigation support to attorneys.
  • Ability to prove efficiency in position.
  • Must be highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with various case document management systems
  • Strong written and verbal communications skills, multi-tasking, attention to detail, problem-solver mentality in handling various case issues
