Description

Functions:

To deliver and pick up parts and equipment for the dealership.

Responsibilities and Authority:

• Deliver parts and equipment to customers, satellite stores and vendors.
• Pick up parts and equipment from customers, satellite stores and vendors.
• Coordinate pick up and delivery with parts manager, inventory administrator, parts counterpersons, shipping and receiving clerk.
• Unload truck each night. Turn in all paperwork and undelivered parts.
• Help maintain professional appearance of the parts department.
• Responsible for monitoring parts van and bringing necessary maintenance to the attention of management.
• Help stock shelves.
• Must be courteous and friendly at all times.
• All other tasks deemed necessary by Management.

Qualifications:
Able to read and comprehend instructions and information. Must be at least 21 years or older. Must have a valid license and a good driving record. Able to use compute and calculator. Able to communicate well orally and in writing with customers, vendors and others. Professional personal appearance.

Working Conditions:
This is a physically demanding position. Will drive company-provided vehicles six to eight hours per shift. Will lift and transport parts weighing up to 70 lbs. several times per day. Will be exposed to heat, cold, dust, noise, fumes and other hazardous and nonhazardous materials. Will be required to wear dealership-provided uniforms at all times. Will lift, reach, sit, stand on ladders, push, pull, bend, twist, and other physically demanding activities regularly throughout the shift. Will have customer interaction.
