CMS Home Group is looking for a licensed and experienced Real Estate agent to join our team as a Buyer’s Specialist! The ideal candidate is motivated, a self-starter and enthusiastic about helping people with their next and future real estate needs.

Real Estate is a fast-paced industry and the ability to be flexible and shift quickly is needed. As a Buyer’s Agent, we will help you with the administrative and marketing side of the business so you can focus on what you do best – build relationships with people and help them find their new homes! Learn the proven strategies that are tried and true, role play scenarios and practice scripts built to help you engage prospects at a high level and the built-in systems to create time-saving efficiency in your day.
Responsibilities:
1. Create, add to and maintain your personal and team database
2. Nurture the database with relevant and consistent communication to stay top-of-mind
3. Prompt follow-up to connect with leads from multiple sources to determine viability, needs and motivation
4. Set buyer consultation appointments to meet with and go over the buying process
5. Prepare for buyer consultations by doing appropriate research & prepping necessary docs
6. Assist buyers and answer questions they have with real estate forms and contracts
7. Host open houses on the team’s listings to secure new buyers
8. Attend showings, inspections, walk-throughs and closings with buyers
9. Attend team client events
10. Attend team and brokerage meetings and trainings; maintain CE credits
11. Prepare for showings with buyers (research, MLS supplements, comps, etc.)
12. Negotiate purchase agreement terms, inspection items and appraisal (if comes in low)
13. Network with other agents for withheld and coming soon listings that may fit with current buyers’ needs
14. Meet with Team Leader and EA to discuss goals, numbers and team business
Qualifications:
- active MN real estate salesperson license & have closed at least 6-12 real estate transactions
- valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and comfortable driving around the Twin Cities metro, surrounding suburbs and extended areas. Plan to be in your vehicle at least 4-6 days a week.
- highly motivated to achieve and meet or exceed goals
- Possesses a growth mindset, be determined and have a strong work ethic
- Team player with ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
- Understand that to be successful you will need to work at a high level
- Exceptional and professional communication skills using all modes of communication
- Must be willing to work and accept phone calls/texts/emails on evenings, weekends and holidays. Please note: our clients are usually available outside of the typical business hours and we need to be able to have availability to do showings, take calls/emails, write offers, etc. – within reason. We DO NOT expect you to work 80 hours a week or until 2am, but know that there may be weeks that you will put in 40-55 hours.
