Job Type: Full-time or Part-Time

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled dental assistant to join our dental practice. The dental assistant will provide support to the dentist, ensuring that all patients receive high-quality care. The ideal candidate should be reliable, detail-oriented, and have excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Assisting the dentist during procedures
  • Taking and developing dental x-rays
  • Preparing and sterilizing instruments and equipment
  • Greeting and preparing patients for dental procedures
  • Taking and recording medical and dental histories and vital signs of patients
  • Providing post-operative instructions to patients
  • Maintaining and updating patient records
  • Ordering and maintaining dental supplies and equipment
  • Cleaning and organizing dental treatment rooms
  • Assisting with front office tasks, such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, and billing patients

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Completion of an accredited dental assistant program
  • Current CPR certification
  • X-ray certification
  • Strong communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Familiarity with dental terminology and procedures
