Responsibilities:

- Manage and supervise a team of auto technicians and support staff

- Oversee the scheduling of repairs and maintenance jobs

- Ensure that all work is completed in a timely manner and meets quality standards

- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed

- Provide guidance and training to technicians on proper repair techniques

- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to team members

- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise

- Maintain a safe and clean working environment

- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements

Qualifications:

- Previous experience as a Shop Manager or similar role in the automotive industry

- Strong knowledge of auto repair processes and procedures

- Proficient in using hand tools and other equipment related to auto repair

- Familiarity with auto painting, sheet metal work, and vehicle maintenance

- Ability to estimate repair costs accurately

- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
