Keller Lake Animal Hospital is Hiring an Associate Veterinarian Near Maplewood, MN

Associate Veterinarian Position Open – Keller Lake Animal Hospital, Minnesota

Keller Lake Animal Hospital (https://kellerlake.com/) is seeking a motivated, collaborative full-time DVM to help our amazing practice grow. We are an AAHA-accredited, dog and cat-exclusive companion animal practice just east of the Twin Cities in beautiful Minnesota. Our clinic has been a part of the community since 1990. We focus on offering individualized care for each patient in as stress-free a manner as possible, making sure we take the time to address all our client's concerns. We are well staffed, well equipped and offer a well-rounded array of services. As a part of Lakefield Veterinary Group, there is always room for growth, so if leadership is a gift you want to use, we can move the right candidate into a Medical Director role when the time is right.

Hear what two current relief doctors have to say about working at Keller Lake Animal Hospital:

Dr. Joe A - Keller Lake has been a fantastic atmosphere to work in. The other doctors are supportive, caring, and always available to help. Most importantly, the clinic's culture is welcoming and positive, with a true team-focused approach. This is only possible because the clinic has their priorities right regarding work-life balance, patient care, and customer service. The highlight of my time at Keller Lake has undoubtedly been the staff. The front desk is always happy to see clients and patients, making everyone feel at home. The veterinary technicians and veterinary assistants make seeing appointments fun and smooth. I look forward to my days working at Keller Lake. I have learned significantly from the other doctors and staff, all while making new friends in the process.

Dr. Cat C - I have been providing relief work for Keller Lake Animal Hospital for the last year. The hospital is well organized, and the team members know their roles and take their responsibilities seriously. All the staff have been employed at the hospital for a long time, which speaks volumes about management and the satisfaction they get from their job. They are friendly and collegial with each other and do a wonderful job educating the Keller Lake clients. It is always nice to see each of them "step in" when another team member is behind or has numerous obligations now.

The two veterinarians who lead the team are excellent to work with-they are excellent leaders and would be effective mentors if that is an area that a potential candidate would be seeking. They collaborate with each other and are quite easy to approach for an opinion or a treatment plan. They have built client education into all their appointments, and it shows when making treatment recommendations. If I did not have a "home" at another veterinary hospital-I would strongly consider Keller Lake to be my primary job.

Our compensation package includes starting base salaries between $110,000 - $130,000 with monthly no-negative production. We offer a great benefits package including, but not limited to: health insurance (vision, medical, dental, health savings/flexible spending), life and disability insurance, 401K with company contribution, PTO, generous CE allowance with additional PTO allotted, reimbursement for membership dues and license fees, and more.
