Kellanova is Hiring a Remote Senior Process Engineer

Are you passionate about technology engineering and want to work with one of the best global brands, if so join us as a Senior Process Engineer in the global Pringles Technology Engineering team. In this role, you will lead large and complex food process technical developments. This role will be a hybrid role in the office Tuesday – Thursday at our corporate office in Chicago, IL, or Battle Creek, MI, or in our Jackson, TN plant. The role will be required to travel 25-50% of the time including global travel.
You will provide global technology leadership on elements of the platform through Global technology teams and work closely with the regional technology owners and other functions. You will drive global technology improvement, standardization, and documentation. You will help set the direction for the platform, identifying technology needs that feed into the Pringles platform global technology masterplan.
A Taste of What You’ll Be Doing
Driving Technical Solutions – In close cooperation with other functions you’ll lead technical developments and improvements on a global scale through chartering, ideation, validation, and line implementation with the lead region’s execution and technical engineering team. You will prepare the global deployment by building specifications, rollout documentation, and making sure the right knowledge transfer happens to the global regions. You will apply people safety and food safety solutions through the development and design of technical solutions including working with internal and external partners to drive the work.
Global technology leadership – As a global technology lead for the platform, you will drive global standardization and cooperation through global technology teams (GTO’s). You will work closely with the regional technology leads and other functions to “understand the today” to “improve the tomorrow” through technical transformation and breakthrough. You will be a peer reviewer for the capital projects in the regions, and as such safeguard the right technical choices and global standardization.
Global technology documentation – You will make sure that global technical documentation for your elements of the platform is up to date, aligned, and communicated to the regions and other functions. You will ensure documentation requirements are outlined according to the Kellanova Work Streams.
Platform direction – You will provide leadership and knowledge to help set the platform's future direction. You will build knowledge on the platform’s overall business needs, regional and plant requirements, and platform gaps to build out the future Pringles global technology master plan in cooperation with the Pringles Global Technology Team.
Leadership and Results – Leverage and influence our people and engineering network, plants, vendors, technologies, and experts around you to excel in your job. You will help develop other engineers by mentoring and coaching them to advance their overall technical abilities. Working with regional engineering in supporting process performance including, documentation, communication, analysis, troubleshooting, and follow-up.
Your Recipe for Success
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field with relevant experience or a High School Diploma or GED with extensive relevant technical experience
A clear understanding of process technology, equipment, and systems
Experience in leading and managing technology development is a plus
Experience in operating successfully in a (global) matrix organization is a plus
Proven success at influencing others to deliver results and create a winning team culture
