We are currently hiring experienced, enthusiastic individuals with electrical wiring experience for the role of Panel Technician.

The Panel Technician assembles enclosures, protection, communication, and control devices, such as switches, relays, transformers, transmitters and switchboards for high complexity panels (as defined by Kele standards) as laid out in drawings and wiring diagrams by performing the following duties.
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Cuts, strips, and mounts wire to connect electrical units;
  • Assists in testing instruments for resistance, voltage and other characteristics;
  • Plans, constructs, and assembles test panels for experimental and production testing;
  • Assembles and tests control devices, switch panels, transformers and other electrical equipment and components;
  • Diagnoses cause of electrical or mechanical malfunction or failure of operational equipment;
  • Installs electrical assemblies and hardware in housing;
  • Assists in testing assembled instruments for circuit continuity and operational reliability;
  • Assembles wires, insulation, and electrical components, such as transformers and relays, following method layouts;
  • Reviews project instructions and blueprints to ascertain test specifications.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma
  • Minimum three years of related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proficiency in reading schematics and or blueprints and building electrical components to their standards
