The Junior Production Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the processing of secondary merchandise and coordinating sales through our eBay and Amazon markets. In this role, you will be responsible for balancing labor, keeping up with processing, meeting customer SLA’s, and driving continuous improvement/quality. Additionally, you will engage in projects that drive sales growth in our eBay and Amazon channels. The role will be responsible for developing the staff to allow them to scale to other areas in Operations. This role will report to the Outbound Operations Manager.

Major responsibilities include:

• Manage activities within Outlet Operations (Secondary Equipment Processing in Tier 3 and working closely with Tier 2, eBay listing, inventory turns and sales). Identify and develop synergies with Ancillary and Tier 2/3 to maximize departmental effectiveness and sales growth.
• Production - Coordinate the activities involved in production, listings, and sales of surplus inventory (Tier 3) leveraging the staff in the most effective fashion. Monitor performance and implement KPI’s. Ensure quality of products and listing. Manage quality and quantity of employee productivity. Provide technical support where necessary.
• Manage inventory to ensure maximum turns, minimize slow mowing items by developing pricing and sales strategies to drive sales.
• Customer Experience - Ensure top rated seller customer service rating on eBay through 99.8% service level and same day response times to inquiries while improving the returns rate to under 6%. Also ensure listings match the product on the shelf.
• Best Practices - Improve processes within the department to drive efficiency. Formulate and implement departmental and organizational policies and procedures to maximize output. Monitor adherence to rules, regulations, and procedures.
• Communication - Monitor, manage and improve the efficiency of communication within the department and the company. Coordinating daily standup meetings reviewing status updates.
• Strategic Input – Collaborate to develop strategies that drive sales of secondary product within KEH channels.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or other relevant field of study
• Analytical skills to evaluate inventory turns and performance and run trending data.
• Interpersonal skills to facilitate communicate with cross functional leaders and employees within the department.
• Strong personal and professional judgment, which are invaluable skills for a role that makes hiring decisions
• Ability to respond quickly to shifting business initiatives and the ability to adjust priorities accordingly
• Organizational skills and the flexibility to jump from priority to priority, and the ability to juggles a variety of functions and projects

Direct Reports

The Junior Production Supervisor role has a team of 10 direct reports and will continue to grow. Supervisor will directly report to the Outbound Operations Manager.
