Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Service Technician to join our team at Keffer Hyundai in Matthews, North Carolina. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the auto industry with a competitive salary of up to $43 per hour. As a Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance and repair services to our customers' vehicles, ensuring the safety and reliability of their vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake pad replacements
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues in vehicles
• Use diagnostic tools and equipment to accurately identify vehicle problems
• Communicate effectively with customers to explain repairs and pricing
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
• Keep accurate records of all services performed on vehicles

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Service Technician in the automotive industry
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
• Knowledge of automotive technology and systems
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods of time
