We are seeking an A-Player to join our vibrant local business, which is part of a progressive horticultural organization with national reach. As the Plant Health Care Manager, you’ll:
Manage all department operations, including budgets and communication to KLM and subcontractor.
Set up an annual, monthly, and weekly schedules for all contracted Tree and Plant Health care services based on KLM client service contracts.
Develop, administrate, and monitor training of all supervisory personnel for various licenses and pesticide management.
Consistently spot check applications and recordkeeping to maintain compliance of State regulations.
Manage subcontractor partners, including scheduling, quality spot checks, and contracts.
Assist in annual planning with Operational teams.
Set and monitor quality of service standards for all IPM, Turf, tree, plant Applications.
Monitor the visual and horticultural quality of the sites and make appropriate recommendations to Account Managers for improvements to the site.
Manage employee life cycle of department and evaluate employees on assigned crews/teams.

4 years' relevant experience in horticulture and plant health care required.
Colorado Pesticide Applicator’s License required.
Arborist Certifications preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in horticulture or related field preferred.
Proven experience motivating, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
Capacity to make critical judgments, solve problems and demonstrate careful attention to detail.
Determination to exceed the goals of position, department, and company by working independently and as an effective team leader.
Experience managing sales and estimation processes (Job costing, proposals, etc.)
Exceptional interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
