General Summary

The Product Technology Enablement Manager identifies, implements, and manages new technology solutions that enable scalability and speed for product teams. This role manages a team of one or more employees and provides leadership in support and maintenance of Technology for Product Teams. In addition, this role identifies opportunities, makes recommendations, and implements changes that optimize the technology solutions already in place.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Manages all aspects of project lifecycles including planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery. Track project progress against milestones and budget guidelines. Reports on project status to internal teams as appropriate.
  • Oversees change management projects that seek to improve product development operations. Minimizes unanticipated impacts to the organization. Ensures changes are adequately tested prior to implementation. Performs change communication and solicits buy-in from all impacted teams.
  • Manages vendor relationships in partnership with Global Business Technology (GBT). Helps select vendors, negotiates pricing and scope of work, and manages project deliverables with external parties or vendors.
  • Works with internal product teams to identify technology resourcing needs that support scalability. Research solutions, presents options and makes recommendations to leadership.
  • Documents and maintains system configurations.
  • Manually updates and/or or develops automation solutions that help maintain data flow between systems.
  • Manages at least one individual contributor direct report, providing leadership, training and support for successful product technology management.
  • Oversees end-user training on technology platforms by direct report(s).
  • Sets expectations, oversees and manages direct report work related to implementation and management of training documentation, Jira tickets, and other administrative tasks.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, business management or related field.
  • Four (4) years of relevant IT experience, preferably with Centric 8 (PLM) and/or SAP-AFS. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Three (3) years of experience leading product line management system implementations and/or system integrations
  • Three (3) years of experience identifying, diagnosing and solving existing process and recommending design changes and functionality enhancements leading to closure of functionality gaps.
  • Three (3) years of experience managing technological vendor relationships.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing projects end-to-end.
  • Two (2) years of experience managing direct reports. Experience managing internal project stakeholders, vendors, and/or cross-functional tasks may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Sound understanding of business processes in the apparel and/or footwear industry.
  • Strong understanding of project management and change management principles.
  • May act as a team lead within the product teams.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal business partners at all levels of the organization. Strong verbal, written, and presentation communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work in a virtual team and communicate effectively in multicultural environment.

Travel Required

Up to 5% of work time will involve travel

Base Salary: $110,000 - $130,000 yearly
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated base salary range for this position. The actual base salary will depend on numerous factors such as: experience, knowledge and skills, and location.
